Pallet Racking

Narrow Aisle Pallet Racking

NARROW AISLE PALLET RACKING consists of Adjustable Pallet Racking but with rows installed closer together eliminating the wasted space of wide aisles.

The pallets can be stored to a greater height to maximise the available headroom.

The system is operated by special narrow aisle trucks, guided by floor-mounted rails or electronic wire guidance fitted in the floor.

* 100% accessibility to all pallets

* Configuration for maximum storage, density and efficiency

* Specialist narrow aisle fork-lift trucks are required to work in the reduced aisle

* Better space utilization

* High occupancy rates

Need help in designing your own Narrow Aisle Racking Installation?

In simple terms, Narrow Aisle Racking is designed in much the same way as normal wide aisle pallet racking, but the racks are simply closer together, where normal wide aisl racking may be around 2800-3300mm (when using a reach of couterbalanced truck), we can get the aisle down to as low as 1600mm using our Narrow Aisle Racking and specialised narrrow aisle forklift trucks.

Do you currently have a wide aisle pallet racking system? Do you want to look at the feasability of going down the Narrow Aisle route? We would be happy to help, and along with our colleagues in the forklift truck industry we can give you advice on the correct type of handling equipment to work within a Narrow Aisle Racking System

Narrow Aisle Racking may not be as costly as you might think, as many of the Wide Aisle to Narrow Aisle conversions we have completed for customers the vast majority have re-used virtually all of there existing racking.

  • What type of product are you storing?
  • What are your pallet dimensions and weights?
